WHEN ARE YOU OPEN?

During standard weeks, the park is closed from Monday & Wednesday and open Tuesday & Thursday 6pm to 9pm (Bike Only), Friday 1pm to 9pm (6pm – 9pm Scoot Only), Saturday – Sunday 10am – 6pm. **Out with these times the park is offered for private hire from £150/hour

During Edinburgh and Midlothian school Holiday Term the park is open Friday – Sunday 10am to 6pm.

CAN I JUST TURN UP AND USE THE PARK?

If you have never visited the park before you will need to complete our First Time User and Membership & Acknowledgement of Risk Forms. This must be completed by yourself if you are over 16 years old or by a parent/legal guardian if you are 15 and under.

WHAT EQUIPMENT CAN I USE IN THE PARK ?

Ryze & Roll is designed and built for “All wheels” Scooters, BMX, MTB, Roller skates, Skateboards and Inline Skates.

Our facility is full of plywood waves and is NOT suitable for toy like equipment such as but not limited to 3 Wheeled Scooters, Toy Scooters, Folding bikes / Scooters, Electric Scooters, Toy Bikes, Any Petrol or Diesel powered vehicles.

If you are in doubt as to whether your equipment is suitable for use within the park our staff will happily advise.

CAN I HIRE EQUIPMENT AT THE PARK?

Yes! We have a range of Scooters, BMX bikes in 18”, 20″ & 24” plus skateboards available to hire. Please note that equipment availability can be limited during busy sessions and we recommend you to pre-book desired equipment in advance by phoning the park on 0131 290 2337.

CAN I HIRE SAFETY EQUIPMENT AT THE PARK?

We have a range of helmets available to hire from £1 per session. Please note that safety equipment availability can be limited during busy sessions and we recommend you pre-book equipment in advance of your visit by phoning the park on 0131 290 2337.

DO I NEED TO WEAR PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT IN THE PARK?

If you are under 16 years old then you must wear a Helmet at all times whilst in the park. Persons over 16 are able to opt out of use of protective equipment by completing the disclaimer at the foot of our Consent Form.

DO YOU HAVE FOOD OR DRINK FACILITIES?

Within Ryze Adventure Parks you will find Sky High Café, who provides a great range of hot and cold food and drink which can be enjoyed either takeaway or sit-in. There is also a RAP Coffee & Cake bar opening summer 2017. We also have vending machines on site as well as a water fountain.

We do insist that no food or drink be taken into the skatepark arena for any reason. This is to ensure the park is clean and safe for use.

TO ARRIVE BY CAR:

We are easily accessible by car, located close to the A7.

At the Sheriffhall Roundabout on the A720 Edinburgh City Bypass take the exit for the A7
towards Newtongrange.

Continue along the A7 for a further 2.2 miles until you reach Dalhousie Road (keep left).

Continue along the B6482.

Before entering Mayfield take a right turn at Saltire Soccer. Please follow the directions on the black signs past the Scottish Ambulance Centre and thereafter taking a right turn, followed by a left.

You will then arrive at Ryze Adventure Park.

TO ARRIVE BY BUS:

Lothian Buses routes 29 (during peak hours), 33 and N3 all stop along Suttieslea Road.

Once off the bus please walk by foot into Mayfield Industrial Estate and follow the black signs to Ryze Adventure Parks and Ryze Edinburgh.

Please take a right after the Scottish Ambulance Centre.

TO ARRIVE BT TRAIN:

You can now travel from far and wide and get off at the Newtongrange stop to make your way over to us. Once off the train, Ryze Adventure Park is just a 5-10 minute walk away!

Ryze Adventure Park is situated at Mayfield Industrial Estate in Dalkeith.

  • We are easily accessible by car, located close to the A7.
  • At the Sheriffhall Roundabout on the A720 Edinburgh City Bypass take the exit for the A7 towards Newtongrange.
  • Continue along the A7 for a further 2.2 miles until you reach Dalhousie Road (keep left).
  • Continue along the B6482.

  • You will then arrive at Ryze Adventure Parks 
  • It is now even easier to find us than ever! Simply follow our newly installed brown tourist directional signs to Ryze Adventure Parks and that will lead you right to us!

To arrive by bus:

  • Lothian Buses route 33 stops on Suttieslea Road.
  • Once off the bus please walk by foot into Mayfield Industrial Estate and follow the black signs to Ryze Adventure Parks 
  • Please take a right after the Scottish Ambulance Centre.

To arrive by train:

You can now travel from far and wide and get off at the Newtongrange stop to make your way over to us. Once off the train, Ryze Adventure Park is just a 5-10 minute walk away!
